Lisa Blur lipsticks review

Lisa Blur* is a brand I have never heard of before until I was given the chance to pick two products from the website to review. I decided to pick two lipsticks (different finishes) as I am a huge lipstick fan. I love buying and trying out lots of lipsticks, as I am fussy.

The Lipsticks
Left: Mirange (Satin)
Right: Galaxy (Matte)

These are the two shades that I decided to pick. If you have followed me for a while you will know that I love pink lipsticks. Mirange is the perfect pink shade for the summer. I also wanted to try a coral lipstick so I went with Galaxy. As you can see from the swatches above (one swipe) both lipsticks are highly pigmented.
The packaging is a classic black that's easy enough to fit in any bag. These feel like a 'high end' lipstick. In terms of packaging and quality wise.

Ultra Satin
Satin lipsticks are my favourite formula of lipstick. They tend to wear nicely on the lips and hide any imperfections.
This lipstick lasted for 6 hours before I needed to reapply. During this time it stayed put even when I was eating and drinking. I applied this lipstick straight from the tube and it never 'dragged' on my lips.
This shade I will get a lot of use from as it's an everyday bright wearable pink lip.

This lipstick really surprised me in a good way. I usually dislike matte lipsticks as they tend to cling to dry patches, apply unevenly and make my lips look awful.
This one is not like others that I have tried as it contains a natural vanilla extract. Which makes the product smooth and creamy. I done a first impressions of this lipstick on snapchat and updates throughout the day. This is the best matte lipstick that I have tried. It is really comfortable to wear, applies evenly, doesn't leave a mark on the inside of your lips and doesn't cling to dry patches. This lasts for around 6 hours on the lips (even with eating and drinking).

My Overall Opinion
This is the first time I have used the brand and I am really impressed with the lip range. I highly recommend this lipstick range as they are just as good as other high end brands. Both formula's are comfortable to wear on the lips, long lasting and highly pigmented. I would purchase more lipsticks from this brand as they are reasonably priced, for the quality.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…

In this blog post I will be sharing my opinions on the products and swatches. I have previously reviewed W7 products here. In that blog post I reviewed W7 prime and glow illuminating primer, Genius feather light foundation, Kiss me lip plumping gloss and cheeky chap multi blush. W7 do not test on animals.
W7 Powder Puff When I saw this in the box I was really excited as I've wanted to try this for a while. Also it is pink which I love as pink is my favourite colour.
The powder puff is latex free
Before I use this sponge I dampen it as foundation, concealer blends out better when doing so.
