#bloggersonthebus Stagecoach event

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a Stagecoach event for bloggers. It was a crafts night where we decorated a phone case, nibbles and drinks. The main point of the event was to find out more information about Stagecoach bus app and how the busses are more user friendly.

About Stagecoach and the app

Who can remember the times when you used to dread getting on the bus because of the journey time and the boredom? Stagecoach buses now have free wifi for you to connect your phone up to. So no more having to use your 3G/4G internet or having no mobile data on your phone. I know having free wifi is a big bonus to me as I am constantly on my phone checking social media/emails etc. Also, if you worry about using up your phone battery or if it's running low Stagecoach buses now have charging devices. This lets you charge your phone whilst you are on the bus.
The app gives you updates about buses e.g when they will be arriving, what's the fasted route and how long you have to wait for the bus. You can also buy your ticket inadvance using he app and you simply show this to the bus driver.

Where the event was held and cocktails
The event was held at Jalou in Newcastle. This is a 2 minute walk away from Central Station.
Blue Lagoon
As soon as we entered Jalou we were asked what drinks we wanted. I picked a Blue Lagoon as that's my favourite cocktail. If it's on the drinks menu that's what I pick straight away.
Cookie Monster cocktail
There was a wide selection range of cocktails on the menu. The cookie monster's main ingredient was Bailey's.

Making of the phone case
Before the event we got asked what type of phone we had. So that they could provide us with the right phone case.
When it comes to crafts I am the first to admit I am not very good. I literally just go along with whatever craft item I am doing and hope for the best. We were provided with stickers, spray paints, glitters etc to make our phone cases.
How I designed my phone case
I never even attempted to do an intricate design incase it ended up a major fail. I decided to 'play it safe' and spray paint the case pink (which is my favourite colour). I then added silver glitter (we all know how much I love glitter) and then finished off with my initials.
I am happy with how my phone case turned out as it could have turned out a lot worse given my craft abilities (or shall we say my lack of craft abilities)

The Goodie bag
At the end of the event we were given a goodie bag which included sweets, nail varnish, popcorn, vouchers etc. But the thing that caught my attention the most was this Portable Charger. As carrying one around with you is always handy, so you don't have to worry about whether your phone will last you the rest of the day/night.

The event was really enjoyable and I had a good time. Buses have come so far in terms of improving the journey for users.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…

W7 are such an affordable brand with great quality products. They do a wide selection of different products and shades. I kindly got sent these products to review. When my packaged arrived I was really happy to see what was in the box. When I opened my parcel I wasn't disappointed as each of these products look amazing. In this blog post I will be sharing my opinions on the products and swatches. I have previously reviewed W7 products here. In that blog post I reviewed W7 prime and glow illuminating primer, Genius feather light foundation, Kiss me lip plumping gloss and cheeky chap multi blush. W7 do not test on animals.
W7 Powder Puff When I saw this in the box I was really excited as I've wanted to try this for a while. Also it is pink which I love as pink is my favourite colour.
The powder puff is latex free
Before I use this sponge I dampen it as foundation, concealer blends out better when doing so.
To create the flawless finish I bounce the sponge off my skin it also stops y…
