Changing room try on & haul

Today I went out shopping (Sunday) as I was after a 'rocker style dress' as they are a really popular fashion trend. In this post I have decided to show you the clothes that I tried on in the changing rooms. Then explain why I bought or didn't buy the item of clothing.

This dress I love! I have been after a ' rocker style' dress like this for ages. I really like the design on it and how it fits. This dress is the opposite of my usual style but I still love it.
This dress is baggy if you get it in your usual size, so if you prefer more fitted dresses I would go a size smaller. I really like the cut out back detailing on this dress. I can't wait to wear this dress out.
Didn't buy
This dress I do really like and I would have bought it if the arm detailing was both the same. I know it's something unusual but for me I'm not a fan. On one arm you get a 3/4 sleeve whereas on the other the sleeve is cut out. Apart from that the dress fitted really nicely and the design is nice.
Didn't buy
I am short (ish) 5ft 3 so when it comes to dresses I like them to be above the knee. This dress is a midi dress (on me) which means it comes below the knee. Midi dresses don't suit me and neither did this dress. I like how this dress is fitted but not how it accentuates my hips (making them look even bigger)
Bought
I really like this gold skirt as it can be dressed either up or down. This is a size 8 which is slightly too big on me but it still fits. It was £4.99 in the sale so you can't complain. Even though this skirt is fitted it's really comfortable to wear. It's also not too short which is a good thing. I really like how shimmery this skirt is as it catches the light.
 Didn't buy
This skirt isn't my usual style but I thought I'd try it on anyways as I want to 'push my fashion boundaries'. The colour of this skirt is nice but I never liked how this skirt looked on me.

This dress was originally £14.99 but I got it in the sale for £4. I really like how this dress fits and the frilly detailing. This dress is ideal to wear for uni etc as it's simple and casual. The dress also comes in black

Primark
In Primark I never tried anything on as the things I did buy I knew they would fit me so there wasn't any need. I thought I'd show them anyways as I did buy them.

Can you ever have too many jumpers? This jumper is ideal to just throw on in the cold mornings etc. Pink is my favourite colour so this hot pink jumper is ideal. It's really warm and fits nicely. I also have this jumper in light pink and black
Bought
This is a Minnie mouse night dress. With night wear I always go a size bigger as I prefer them to be baggier and more room. I really like the colour of this and the fact it's Minnie mouse

Overall
I was originally going to post a different post tonight (that post will now be up Wednesday)
I decided to publish this post as it's something abit different and I don't think anyone else has posted something similar.
I am really happy with the clothes that I bought and can't wait to wear them out.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post as it's something a bit different. Let me know your thoughts.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
