Essence makeup: Festive Challenge and Review

I was kindly sent these items*
If you have read my blog for a while now, you will know that Essence is one of my favourite high street makeup brands. Essence products are really affordable and really good quality. In this post I got sent some products to do a Festive Challenge with. Combined with other Essence products that I already own. I created a look. In this post I will be giving mini reviews of the products, swatches and at the end the finished look.
I love extreme Volume Mascara Black
I have sensitive eyes and some mascaras irritate my eyes really badly. This one never, it's really comfortable to wear (it doesn't feel like you are wearing mascara) it doesn't flake throughout the day and it's easy to remove. I really like this mascara as it adds volume to my lashes and its a true black mascara.  I already own mascara and have previously reviewed it on my blog. The review above is what I said in another blog post. An update on the mascara I still do really like it…

Benefit Cosmetics: Blogger event & information about products

On Tuesday I was invited to the Benefit Cosmetics blogger event. Which was at Debenhams Newcastle. Laura from Ellefluence organised this event and Laura Pearman was the photographer. The first Benefit product was a blush and lip tint called 'Rose tint' it is now known as Benetint. They originally created this tint for an exotic dancer who needed a nipple tint. Benetint is one of Benefits best selling products by selling over 10 million bottles. In 2003 Benefit launched a brow bar. Benefits motto is 'laughter is the best cosmetic. The decision to have a beauty boutique was based on a coin toss: heads for a casserole café and tails for a beauty boutique.

Rubs Smoke House cocktail event

On Monday night I went to Rubs Smoke house cocktail event. Laura from Ellefluence organised this event. As with any Ellefluence event you knew it was going to be a good night as they always are.
Rub Smoke house has just recently opened at Newcastle which is in 'The Gate'. They have other chains in Nottingham and Birmingham.
Before the event I met up with some other bloggers we arranged this on Twitter. As we never wanted to go alone. The North East blogging community is one of the nicest communities to be apart of. Everyone is really lovely and friendly.
The Event The event was really organised and it was clear what was going to happen throughout the night. The event started at 6pm and finished at 9pm.
Outside the event Ellefluence took a group photo of all the bloggers that attended. Then as we went in Rubs Smoke house we were welcomed with a cocktail and then proceeded to get our photo's taken by Laura Pearman. After this we all made our way over to the cocktail area. We …
