My 20th Birthday: Makeup, OOTN and pictures from the night

Today I am 20! I feel like 20 is the age where you are now a 'proper' adult. Looking back on my teens I never really achieved and done as much as I hoped. In my 20's I have so many things that I want to achieve and I am determined to achieve them.
In this blog post I will be talking about my hair, what makeup I used, ootn and a few pictures of my meal/night out. I went out last Saturday night with the girls. I really enjoyed myself.

Hair
Excuse the picture above. I have no makeup on and no filter on the picture.
I was debating whether to get my hair extensions put in or not but I decided against it. I wanted my hair curly and plenty of volume.
I have a lot of hair but it is thin. My hairdresser done an amazing job of doing my hair and making it look full. I am really happy with the results. I got my hair done at half 1pm and it still looked exactly the same 1.30am in the morning. It also lasted the next day (flat and less curls) but suitable to go out in the following day.

Outfit
My Mam actually saw this dress and told me to try it on. When I saw it on the hanger I was unsure and thought it looked unflattering. But then as soon as I tried it on I fell in love with it. I find it flattering on my figure and skims over the parts where I dislike. White dresses seem to be popular, I have saw quite a few people wear them.

How my makeup looked at the end of the night
I applied my makeup 4pm as I like to give myself plenty of time to do my makeup without rushing. I got back home 1.30am in the morning.
This is how my makeup looked then. I re applied no makeup apart from my lipstick.
I had a face powder in my bag but I never needed to powder.
I never used a setting spray either as my makeup stays in place etc.

The meal
I am an extremely fussy eater and if you've followed me on Twitter you will know that. I even done a blog post about 'Things fussy eaters will understand'
We went to Frankie and Bennys. I have been there before and I really liked it.
For drinks I asked for a Blue Lagoon cocktail but they ran out of ingredients to make it. So instead I just got a coke.
Main: I got a plain burger and chips. It came with the side dip. This portion is too big for me to eat so I ended up leaving some.
Desert: I got plain vanilla ice cream

I am not a big fan of going out for meals etc as I am a fussy eater. I always end up checking the menu before I go to make sure something is on the menu that I like.
Normally if a burger is on the menu I always order that as I know I will like it.

Other pictures from the night
I took quite a few pictures. I am that friend that constantly takes pictures/snapchats at any given chance. I just can't help myself, although I never took that many pictures so my battery wouldn't go flat.
These are some of the pictures that I did take.
When I got home. Bailey ended up waking up as he could hear me coming in.
In Frankie and Bennys restaurant
Taking selfies in Frankie and Bennys toilets. How classy!? Can you really go out without taking at least one bathroom selfie though?!?!
Took this whilst in Cooper Rose
A card that I got given for my birthday
I could have just uploaded this photo but instead I decided to upload them all.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post. I really enjoyed going out for my birthday. As I love any excuse to get properly dressed up e.g glam makeup and to wear a nice dress.
Now that I am 20 do you have any tips on making the most out of your 20?

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
