Tag Tuesday: The Beauty Blogger Tag

I have been looking for tag questions to do as I haven't done any tag questions in a while. This tag has interested me as the questions seem really interesting.
Lets get onto the questions......

Use 3 words to describe your blogging style?
Honest, informative and chatty

If you could meet any person in the fashion/beauty industry (dead or alive) who would it be and why?
PLouise she is a really talented self taught makeup artist. She does the exact makeup that I love full coverage glam. If I was nearly as talented as her I would be really happy. She has her own makeup academy in Manchester but for those who aren't near or from Manchester. There are online tutorials to watch to learn how to create certain looks.

How has your blogging changed compared to when you first started?
I give more indepth reviews so my reviews are as useful as possible. I also include claims about the product, about the brand and my overall opinion etc. Since studying English at Uni (I'm now going into my 2nd year) I like to think my writing quality has improved aswell. In addition to this I also post more topical blog posts.

What 1 tip would you give to a new blogger?
Don't compare yourself to other bloggers. Nobody's journey is exactly the same as the other person. Instead focus on your own blogging journey and work to your best ability. Don't be disappointed if you don't get the views overnight, success doesn't come straight away.  I have given way more than one tip but being a new blogger is hard.

As far as my blogging is concerned, I want to become better at… (fill in the sentence)
Photography! I am literally the worst person when it comes to photography and editing. My skills are very basic.

Name one makeup/ beauty product you have been eyeing, but have not bought yet?
I have my eye on so many new beauty products! This is such a hard question but some of the things I want for either my birthday (October) or Christmas
Too Faced Liquid lip melt
Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette
Mac lipstick (but when do I not want a Mac lipstick)
Kat Von D liquid lipstick

Do you have a holy grail product? What is it?
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation! It was my first ever blog post which I reviewed here. I have used this foundation for years and will continue to do so. It is full coverage and gives you a flawless finish. I talk about this product a lot because it is really good.

London/ Paris or New York fashion week? Why?
New York as its a place where I have always wanted to visit.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.
3/4 Sleeve Textured Dress This is one of my favourite dresses that I picked as I love the colour, s…

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
