Elle Woods Legally Blonde: Makeup and Costume

Last night I attended a fancy dress party. I decided to dress up as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. I have always loved the movie and the musical so this party was ideal to channel my inner Elle Woods.
I loved dressing up as Elle Woods as it meant I got to dress head to toe in pink (which is my favourite colour) and not be judged for it. If I could dress up like this everyday I would but sadly I can't. "Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed" - Elle Woods Legally Blonde
In this blog post I will be talking through how I achieved my interpretation of 'Elle Woods' makeup, the costume etc.

The Costume
If you type in 'Elle Woods' costume on Amazon plenty of sellers will come up.
The costume is a dress, jacket and the dog in the bag.
I also took pictures with Bruiser aka Bailey. I took these pictures just for the purpose of my blog and social media sites. Sadly I couldn't take Bailey to the fancy dress party. So the toy Bruiser had to do.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…

W7 are such an affordable brand with great quality products. They do a wide selection of different products and shades. I kindly got sent these products to review. When my packaged arrived I was really happy to see what was in the box. When I opened my parcel I wasn't disappointed as each of these products look amazing. In this blog post I will be sharing my opinions on the products and swatches. I have previously reviewed W7 products here. In that blog post I reviewed W7 prime and glow illuminating primer, Genius feather light foundation, Kiss me lip plumping gloss and cheeky chap multi blush. W7 do not test on animals.
W7 Powder Puff When I saw this in the box I was really excited as I've wanted to try this for a while. Also it is pink which I love as pink is my favourite colour.
The powder puff is latex free
Before I use this sponge I dampen it as foundation, concealer blends out better when doing so.
To create the flawless finish I bounce the sponge off my skin it also stops y…
