Beach So Chic temporary tattoos review

Tattoo's are something that I really like but I would never get one myself. Mainly because I change my mind really easily and I hate needles.
Beach So Chic kindly sent me out these temporary tattoos to review. I was really happy when these arrived and I couldn't wait to use them.
These are ideal if you are going to festivals and want to be creative, whether you want to have a tattoo but unsure on the design or if you are just curious about trying temporary tattoos.
The brand has celebrity fans: Sam Faiers and the Kardashians.
I have a video of me showing the tattoos etc on Twitter and Instagram. Click here to watch the short video.
Packaging
The packaging is good quality and looks expensive (because of the gold writing) It feels luxurious. There are instructions on the back that are really easy to follow. They give you step by step instructions on how to apply them. The tattoo sheets are inside and are easy to remove.
Temporary Tattoos
£14.99
I got sent two packs of these.
£9.99
How to apply
Cut out the design
Remove clear protective sheet
Position tattoo with the design facing downwards, firmly on clear skin. Free of oils, perfume and lotions.
Place a wet cloth against the back of the tattoo and press down firmly for 30 seconds. Then slowly peel backing paper off.
How to remove
Use baby oil, hot water and a sponge.

The finished result
This is the result of me trying the tattoos out for the first time.
I have a video up on Twitter and Instagram of me applying the temporary tattoos (with help of my Mam, so that I could film the process). If you would like to watch that then click here
My Overall opinion
I am really impressed by these temporary tattoos and I would buy them myself.
They are really easy to use and easy to remove.
They last a few days on the skin before the start to not look as nice.
These are ideal if you are going to a festival, for a night out or if you don't like wearing jewellery. These temporary tattoos are a good alternative to that.
You can create many different designs with these. I went for simple designs.
Whilst out I got asked whether these were actually real tattoos or not. Which I think is a compliment as it proves they look high quality.

Whats your opinion on temporary tattoos? Have you used them before?

  1. I think this is a great idea for people who don't want to commit to a tattoo. Compared to the designs I used to have about ten years ago these look great. Would happily wear them. Great post.

    1. Thank you :)
I agree it is as tattoos are popular, it's a great way to see if people like them or not.
Temporary tattoo years ago were no where near as good as they are today. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference whether a tattoo is real or fake.
I will continue to use the rest of the pack up as they are a great alternative to jewellery x

  2. I've loved temporary tattoos since I was a young child so I am glad they've been given a grown up revamp in the past few years. I love these, especially the Pink Sand collection!

    1. Same, when I was younger I was obsessed with them as it made me feel like a 'grown up'
Temporary tattoos have really improved since then, they've become fashionable and 'cool'
The Pink Sand collection is my favourite aswell as it looks really classy and its a statement.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
