W7 makeup review and swatches

W7 are such an affordable brand with great quality products. They do a wide selection of different products and shades. I kindly got sent these products to review. When my packaged arrived I was really happy to see what was in the box. When I opened my parcel I wasn't disappointed as each of these products look amazing.
In this blog post I will be sharing my opinions on the products and swatches.
I have previously reviewed W7 products here. In that blog post I reviewed W7 prime and glow illuminating primer, Genius feather light foundation, Kiss me lip plumping gloss and cheeky chap multi blush.
W7 do not test on animals.

W7 Powder Puff
When I saw this in the box I was really excited as I've wanted to try this for a while. Also it is pink which I love as pink is my favourite colour.
The powder puff is latex free
Before I use this sponge I dampen it as foundation, concealer blends out better when doing so.
To create the flawless finish I bounce the sponge off my skin it also stops your foundation etc from streaking.
This powder puff is ideal for creating a flawless base and because of the shape it allows precision around the nose/eye area.
I used this powder puff to blend out my highlight/concealer, contour and foundation
Using this product allowed me to blend out foundation etc much quicker compared to normal.
W7 Contour Stick
I got sent the shade medium/deep.
I like my contour to be strong as I like it to be noticeable. The highlight part was noticeable on my skin as I used a darker foundation (I used a W7 foundation that I got sent previously to review)
This product is ideal to contour and highlight with as it comes in one tube and is easy to just throw in your makeup bag.
I applied the highlight shade (left) under my eyes in a triangular shape, middle of my nose, above my eye brows, on my chin and cupids bow.
I used this under my cheekbones and blended upwards (using my W7 powder puff), down the sides of my nose, temples and under my jaw.
W7 Making Waves eye colour
Fools Gold
When I first saw this palette I was really intrigued and couldn't wait to use it. It reminded me of the Hourglass palette which is £56!
As you can see from the swatches this palette is good if you want to create a 'natural' eye look.
The shadows have a really silky texture and are really blendable.
How I created the eyeshadow look
I decided to use all 5 shades of the palette.
Shade 1: Applied on the brow bone and tear duct area
Shade 2: Transitional shade
Shade 3: All over the lid
Shade 4: Outer v and crease
Shade 5: Outer v and crease
W7 Lashtastic Mascara
I really like this mascara and it's made its way into my makeup bag.
This mascara is ideal for coating all of your lashes.
I used two layers of this mascara.
The brush is plastic and chunky. The formulation of the mascara isn't wet or dry, it's somewhere inbetween (which I prefer).
My lashes don't clump when using this mascara
I have sensitive eyes and this mascara doesn't irritate my eyes at all.
Removing this mascara is really easy to remove.
Finished Look
As I was reviewing W7 products I wanted to try and do a full face of makeup using the W7 products.
These are the W7 products that I used in order to create the look
W7 Prime and Glow illuminating primer
W7 Genius feather light foundation (I am aware this foundation is too dark for me but for the purpose of this blog post I used it anyways and blended it down my neck)
W7 Contour Stick
W7 Cheeky Chap multi blush
W7 Making Waves eye colour: Fools Gold
W7 Lashtastic Mascara
W7 Lip pluming gloss

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
