Makeup Haul

A few weeks ago I went makeup shopping because I just need more makeup in my collection.
These are the products I ended up buying from my little shopping trip.
The Balm
Nude tude eyeshadow palette
I have wanted this palette for ages! It has such pretty shades in it, which I can't wait to use.
The palette also comes with a mini sample of the put a lid on it eyeshadow primer and a brush.
The shades that I'm looking forward to using the most: Sassy and Silly.
Maybelline Silk Glam Eyestudio
21 Pink Drama
I love the colour pink and when I saw this I knew I had to buy it.
In July I am going to a fancy dress party and I am doing my own makeup. The colours in this  eyeshadow quad will be perfect to use on my eyes along with other eye products.
My favourite shade in this quad is the 3rd shade.
Rimmel Glam Eyes
028 Burgundy Palace
I could be wrong but I'm sure Sam from Pixiwoo used this eyeshadow quad in one of her videos.
I really liked how the shades look and how they swatched.
My favourite shade in this quad has to be the top right colour.
Sleek Molten Metal
715 Steel & Ash
I love silver shades on the eyes and smokey eyes in general.
This duo reminds me of Maybelline Colour tattoos (which I love)
It will be interesting to see how well they last on the eye lids and whether they crease.
My favourite shade is Steel (left)
Max Factor Wild Shadow Potts
10 Ferocious Black
Max Factor are a brand I haven't tried many products from. When I swatched this shade it was really pigmented. I have used this shade since buying it and I really like it. This shade adds depth and is perfect for creating a smokey eye.
Max Factor Wild Shadow Potts
85 Aggressive Copper
I really like this shade and it is really pigmented. I can't wait to use this shade on my eyes.
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede
003 Ready to Wear
The colour of this lipstick attracted me to it when I saw it in the shop.
I have used this lipstick and I like it but it's not as pigmented on the lips as I thought it would be.
Smooch
Flirtini
This is a really nice muted bright pink shade. Ideal if you don't want to wear a bright pink lipstick.
Sleek Pout Paint
162 Milkshake
I really like how bright this shade is. I have worn this on my lips and I am impressed with how pigmented it is.
When using this product you have to apply it with a lip brush.
W7 Nail Varnish
104 Strawberry Daiquiri
I love pink nail varnish especially if its glittery aswell. I find glittery nail varnish just lasts a lot longer on the nails.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.
3/4 Sleeve Textured Dress This is one of my favourite dresses that I picked as I love the colour, s…

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
