Essence review, swatches & makeup look

If you read my blog you will know that I love Essence makeup products as they are cheap, affordable and good quality. You can imagine how delighted I was when I got an email asking if I wanted to 'Spring clean your beauty regime'. These are the products that I got sent *spoiler alert* yet again I love everything. I have previously done another post on Essence makeup here. Where I reviewed the products I got sent, swatched and created a makeup look. All about Roses eyeshadow palette 03 Roses Natural eye look Dramatic eye look I love smokey eyes and normally for my everyday eyeshadow looks I tend to go quite dramatic. With this palette I have created two different looks. The first one is natural smokey eye to add definition, whereas the second eye look is full on smokey eye. As you can see from the looks I have created the palette is really versatile and is ideal to travel with. The shades blended really nicely together, creamy and good pigmentation. When I applied the eyeshadow I e…

The Mineral House at Crowne Plaza Newcastle

The Mineral House Spa This was my first ever time attending a blogger event and to be honest I was quite nervous as I didn't know what to expect etc. I was a quite last minute decision to attend the event but I am really glad I had the chance to go. The spa on the whole was amazing! The staff were so lovely and helpful. The other bloggers were so lovely and chatty. The event was in Newcastle about a 5 minute walk from the Central Station. Mineral House spa is located within the Crowne Plaza hotel (which only opened last year). When you arrive at the hotel you get the lift to the lower ground floor. When I arrived there I was greeted by the lovely staff who were very helpful . I was given a white robe and some spa slippers. The robe was so comfortable and fluffy whilst the slippers were also warm. In the changing rooms there were lockers (to keep your belongings safe and secure) hair dryers, mirrors, showers etc. I was taken to this cosy area to sit and relax in. It was very homely a…

Essence review, swatches & makeup look

Essence is one of my favourite high street makeup brands. The products are really affordable, good pigmentation and really easy to apply. I was kindly sent these Essence products to review. I wasn't disappointed by any of the products. All about the nudes eyeshadow palette 02 Nudes With this palette you can create a very natural look or a more dramatic look (like I have). All of the shades compliment each other, blendable, really creamy and the pigmentation is the best on the high street. I have used this palette with and without primer. The colours last all day and they don't crease. When I applied the eyeshadow there was no fall out. This is the perfect palette as it contains a mix of shimmery and matte eyeshadows. It is also ideal to have in your bag if you want to update your eye makeup from day to night. I like long lashes! Volume & Length Black I rarely buy mascaras and I tend to stick to the one that works. When I received this I was excited to try it as it claims to add…
