Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette swatches

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani is one of the most hyped about collections. Out of the collection I own the eyeshadow palette and now I have the blush palette. Blush is something that I am not obsessed with as I tend to stick to neutral shades. But I love this palette as it is fairly neutral whilst having two blushes (Cherry and Easy) for a pop of colour.

The formulation of these blushes are the Afterglow formula. Which is sheer coverage and lasts up to eight hours. In my opinion the coverage of the blush is more medium and can be build up for a stronger finish.

 Cherry
Urban Decay describe it as a light pink satin.
It is a cool toned pink with a slight sheen. It is really easy to blend and is buildable depending on how opaque you want it.

Easy
Urban Decay describe it as a deep rose with gold shimmer.
It is a cool toned deep medium plum shade. This shade is quite pigmented so be careful if you are heavy hand. I have used this blush with the Nanshy stippling brush for sheer coverage and it is really pretty on the cheeks.

Angel
Urban Decay describe it as champagne nude shimmer.
It has warm undertones and on fair skin (like mine) it is good to use as a highlighting blush. On deeper skin tones it will look nice as a champagne highlighter.

Lo-fi
Urban Decay describe it as a soft bronzed matte.
It is a medium brown, with warm orange undertones. It has a matte finish so you are able to use it as a contour powder. This is one of my favourite shades as you can use it as bronzer and also contour with it (because its matte). This shade is buildable and easy to blend.

Hush
Urban Decay describe it as a medium pink with gold shimmer.
It has warm undertones and is a good every day blush to use. As you don't have to worry about applying a lot, easy to blends and lasts a long time on the cheeks.

OC
Urban Decay describe it as a soft pink with peach shift.
It is a light pink with yellow/peach warm undertones. This can be build up to a medium coverage.

My overall opinion on the palette
I really like this palette and ever since I got it I have been reaching for it daily. It is the perfect blush palette if you are going away as you have your bronzer/contour, blush and highlight all in one palette. It also comes with a large mirror which is a bonus. Since getting this palette I haven't reached for any of my other favourite blushes since. This palette is ideal for those who want to try out the afterglow formula and to have a variety of different shades in one place.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
