High end makeup and perfume haul

Yesterday I went out shopping with my Mam and I ended up getting a few high end makeup items. I rarely buy high end items unless I really want them and have done research into the products. Estee Lauder in Debenhams has an offer on where if you buy 2 products (one has to be foundation) you get a free gift. Also Estee Lauder currently has 10% off products. For the Dior samples the lady on the Dior gave me them. Estee Lauder Illuminating perfecting primer 30ml Idea for dry/normal/combination skin. Adds instant brightness and radiance Minimize the look of pores Hydrates the skin Estee Lauder Double wear foundation 1N2 ECRU 30ml This is my holy grail foundation. I have a review of the foundation here. Estee Lauder Double wear foundation 2C2 Pale Almond 30ml I got this as my skin tone tends to change around the spring/summer. This shade will be ideal to mix with other foundations. Estee Lauder Pure colour envy 220 Pierced Petal 7ml Liquid lip potion This product reminds me of the YSL Glossy Stains (eve…

Pretty in Pink Bracelets from Becky Derbyshire

I was kindly sent these bracelets by Becky to review and I love them. They are really pretty and girly. Pink is my favourite colour (she never knew that at the time) and can be worn with any outfit.

Facebook: The Lifestyle Blogger UK The bracelets are really good quality and will go with many different outfits. You can wear them all together or mix and match them to create your desired look. They are really good quality so they don't break easily. The bracelets can fit a variety of different sized wrists etc. The bracelets are pretty pale pink and gold. The pouch that the bracelets comes is secure, so the bracelets keeps all together. These would be a nice treat to yourself or a perfect gift for Mothers Day.

How much is my face worth tag

If you are anything like me you dread to think how much you have spent on makeup over the years. Yet instead of cutting down you end up buying more because you 'need' that new eyeshadow palette or lipstick. I have seen quite a few people do this post/tag over the years. So I thought I would do it myself. This is the makeup that I wore on ' What I wore Wednesday' post. This is the makeup I tend to use on a daily. The only things that tend to vary (depending on what I am wearing are eyeshadow and lip products) Face Smashbox photo finish primer £25.50 MUA pro base: Peach £2 Collection lasting perfection concealer: Fair 1 £4.19 Estee Lauder high cover concealer: 1N Extra Light £22 Bourjois bronzing primer £9.99 Estee Lauder double wear foundation: 1N2 ECRU £30.00 Estee Lauder chic to cheek powder £8.99 (discontinued. This is the price online) Collection 2000 pressed powder: 03 Translucent £1.99 Benefit Hoola £23.50 Laval salon deluxe bronzing powder: Medium matt £1.99 Estee Lauder all over …

What I wore Wednesday: Uni and makeup OOTD

I have previously done 'What I wore Wednesday' in the past but today I have decided to do a more indepth post. Including more about the makeup that I also wore. This afternoon I have just been to uni. I really wanted to wear my new skirt and this is the way I have styled it. Even for Uni I do still wear a lot of makeup to most people. But this is the way I like my makeup to look and I make time to do it. Outfit Cardigan: H&M Jumper: Primark Skirt: Primark (should still be available to buy I bought it last Saturday) Tights: Primark Boots: Local shop Bag: Michael Kors Bracelet: Amazon Necklace: Primark Rings: Pandora Watch: Michael Kors Makeup Eyes I applied foundation over my eyelids before I applied any other makeup just to eliminate any discolouration. Maybelline Colour Tattoo: Crème De Nude I used this as an eyeshadow primer on my eyelid and blended it up towards the brow bone. This stops my eyeshadow from creasing (as I have slightly hooded eyes) and it also makes the colours last lon…

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette swatches

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani is one of the most hyped about collections. Out of the collection I own the eyeshadow paletteand now I have the blush palette. Blush is something that I am not obsessed with as I tend to stick to neutral shades. But I love this palette as it is fairly neutral whilst having two blushes (Cherry and Easy) for a pop of colour. The formulation of these blushes are the Afterglow formula. Which is sheer coverage and lasts up to eight hours. In my opinion the coverage of the blush is more medium and can be build up for a stronger finish.
Cherry Urban Decay describe it as a light pink satin. It is a cool toned pink with a slight sheen. It is really easy to blend and is buildable depending on how opaque you want it. Easy Urban Decay describe it as a deep rose with gold shimmer. It is a cool toned deep medium plum shade. This shade is quite pigmented so be careful if you are heavy hand. I have used this blush with the Nanshy stippling brush for sheer coverage and it is real…

Things commuters will understand to work/uni

These are the 'problems' that I find with the commute to uni and back. The university that I go to is an hour train journey away from where I live. Luckily for me I am only at uni 3 times per week but still those 9am starts.... ouch! I have decided to write this post to share the problems/situations that only commuters will understand. Things commuters will understand Having to get up hours early just so that you can get ready, catch the train etc in time. E.g getting up 6am for a 9am start.  You have to try your best to stay awake on the train, just so that you won't miss your stop You know exactly where you like to sit on the train You hate it when others sit next to you on the train as sometimes (well most of the time) you just want to sit by yourself and prepare yourself for the day Nothing makes you more furious than rising train fares You get annoyed when the train conductors (is that what they are called?) walk up and down constantly checking peoples tickets How squashe…

Rimmel and Maybelline haul

A few weeks ago I went out shopping for some high street makeup. Rimmel and Maybelline are affordable and the products are really good quality. My stand out product from what I bought are the Rimmel apocalips and the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick. High Street makeup can be just as good if not better to some high end products.
