Masterful Collection set
The set comes in two colours: Onyx Black and Pearlescent White. I think that the black looks classy and it is a timeless colour.
There are 12 colours in the set, face brushes and eye brushes. There are 5 face brushes and 6 eye brushes, the set also contains a lip brush. There is information on the back of the box saying what each brush does and how it works.

Face makeup brushes
You get 5 face makeup brushes in the set. They include powder, blush, stippling, contouring and foundation.

Powder Brush
Claims: "Great looks start with a faultless base. Evenly apply powder and mineral foundations for a velvety high definition results"
My opinion: This brush is really fluffy and is ideal to apply a light layer of powder. This brush picks up powder really well and it distributes it evenly across the face.

Blush Brush
Claims: "The blush brush that's perfect for applying just the right amount of blush every time! Our synthetic densely packed bristles provide even distribution. Firm enough to pick up the perfect amount of colour, yet soft enough to apply evenly"
My opinion: This brush is really good for applying blush but I mainly use it for applying bronzer as it is the right shape. This is really good for pigmented products especially if you have a heavy hand.

Stippling Brush
Claims: "A brush that will quickly become your favourite, maybe ever! Use to apply foundation for that airbrushed finish. Warm your foundation on the back of your hand, dip the brush and stipple all over your face"
My opinion: This brush is slightly firm to use which is a good thing in my opinion, as it gives you more control when applying the product to your face. This brush is easy to use especially if you have never used a stippling brush before. When applying foundation etc with this brush it doesn't leave it looking patchy or streaky. It gives foundation a flawless natural finish.

Contouring Brush
Claims: "Achieve perfect contouring and shading with our contouring brush. Or use across elsewhere you'd like to highlight! The shape follows the natural contour for easy application"
My opinion: This is my favourite face brush from this set as I really like the shape etc. This is perfect for applying bronzer, contouring etc it can also be used to apply blusher.

Foundation Brush
Claims: "A foundation brush to be used with all your favourite products and take them to a brand new level of airbrush look application"
My opinion: I like to use this brush for when I cream contour as it is the perfect shape and angle. Flat foundation brushes are the best way to get full coverage.

Eye makeup brushes
You get 6 eye makeup brushes in the set. They include shader, blending, crease, pencil, angled detailer, eye liner.

Shader Brush
Claims: "The perfect blush for placing eye shadow on the lid - its bristles firm and densely packed. Picking up the right amount of colour, yet a size that's also perfect for fitting on the lid"
My opinion: I actually like to use this brush in the crease as it gives the right amount of colour. It also defines my eyes as they are slightly hooded. The bristles are densely packed, this is my favourite brush from the eye brushes.

Blending Brush
Claims: "Designed to blend, swipe the brush wherever you want to soften edges or create a seamless transition between colours"
My opinion: I love this brush for blending and it softens any harsh edges. This brush is also good if you want a quick wash of colour on the eye lid.

Crease Brush
Claims: "Perfect brush for creating a super soft shadow in the crease and also great for blending out concealer under the eyes. It prevents your concealer from caking up and getting too thick. This brush is meant for unifying"
My opinion: I really like this brush for darkening the outer part of my eyes to make my eye shadow more dramatic. The brush is densely packed but it is still fluffy. You can also create a cut crease with this brush as you have full control. It can also be used to blend out eye shadow.

Pencil Brush
Claims: "Great for blending out eye liner, even for the harsh look - also for smudging shadow under the lower lashes and creating a defined outer eye area. A perfect everyday brush and it works perfectly for any type of smudged liner look"
My opinion: I really like this brush for applying eye shadow under my lower lashes as it allows me to get close to my lash line. This brush is really soft to use under the eyes and doesn't cause any irritation.

Angled Detailer Brush
Claims: "This is a multi purpose brush that be used to feather out, blend any harsh lines, highlight under the brow, apply a light coat of base or even apply eye concealer. A most versatile brush"
My opinion: I mainly use this to lightly fill in my eye brows and it works really well for that. I also use this to line the top of my eye lid with black eye shadow to give some definition to my eyes.

Liner Brush
Claims: "Our liner brush features an easy application of colour for you to smoothly and expertly line the contours for definition"
My opinion: I use this for spot concealing any blemishes I have on my face. It works really well for doing that.

Lip Brush
Claims: "Made for applying lipstick and gloss, simply apply a dab of colour in the centre of your lip and brush towards outer corners until your entire lip is covered. Easy polished and gorgeous!"
My opinion: The day I took this photo I couldn't open it at all and by the time I did manage to get it open I had lipstick on the brush. Anyways this brush is perfect if you want a defined lip, especially when using bright and dark lip colours. This is ideal as its compact enough to just throw in your handbag, without the brush staining your handbag.

My overall opinion
I love every single brush in this collection and I am so happy that I got the chance to try the brushes out. The quality is high quality for such affordable brushes. All of the brushes are really soft and they don't shred.

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
