Comic character
The first look I took inspiration from a comic character and tried to recreate that on myself.
Makeup
Smashbox photo finish primer: Applied all over the face to create a base
MUA liquid eye liner in Black: I used this to draw an outline for the tear mark, fill in and make my eye brows bold, outlined the lips and created exaggerated lines on my face
Nyx jumbo eye pencil in Milk: This is used to create the white dots all over my face. I also used this on the lips
MUA Glamour days palette: The blue shade is used to create the tear
MUA lipstick shade 13: I used this on my lips as it's a classic comic book character colour
Le Volume De Chanel mascara: Used this to blacken my lashes, also to add length and volume
Avon super shock gel eyeliner Black: Used this on the waterline

Cat eye
I saw someone on my Instagram post a similar look to this so I tried to recreate it
Makeup
MUA liquid eye liner in Black: I used this to create the outline on my eye and to fill the area in. As my eyes are quite hooded I had to apply more eye liner to make it noticeable on my eyes. I applied it on the majority of my eye lid, filled in my brows and curved the outer part to connect the two.
MUA Glamour days palette: I used the purple shade in the crease and blended it up so that it would be noticeable on my eyes. I also applied it to the lower lash line to add some colour
MUA Glitter eye liner shade 1: To create the eyes and nose on the cat
Avon super shock gel eye liner: Applied to the waterline to add depth and to complete the look

 Skeleton
I bought some black and white face paints to try and create a skeleton look. This look took the longest to do
Makeup
Wilko white face paint: I applied this all over my face. This is quite sheer so it took some time to build and layer the colour up. I applied the first layer with my fingers, then for the second layer I used a makeup sponge to dab the colour on (by doing it this way it made the colour more opaque)
Collection 2000 kohl in black: I used this to outline the areas I was going to apply the black paint. I also used it on my eye lid, lower lash line and water line
Wilko black face paint: I used this to fill in the black outline. I applied two layers of this to make sure it was opaque. I applied this with a makeup sponge
Benefit They're real mascara black: I applied two coats this on my eye lashes

Everything 5 pounds lookbook

Everything 5 pounds is an online retailer that sell clothes, shoes, jackets etc all for £5. There are so many choices on the website to pick from. I was given the opportunity to pick 9 items from the website to feature on my blog. With that I've decided to create a lookbook of all of the clothes. I am really happy with them all and ideal to dress either up or down. I decided to pick 7 dresses as they are mainly what I wear and are really versatile. Shoe wise I went with a classic black pair of heels and a black wedge.
For Reference I am 5ft 4 so the length of the dresses will differ on you depending on your height. All the dresses that I ordered are a size 8. All of the dresses are true to size and accurate. Same with the shoes they are true to size.
All the clothes in this post should still be available to buy online. The clothes on Everything 5 pounds tend to go out of stock quickly.
3/4 Sleeve Textured Dress This is one of my favourite dresses that I picked as I love the colour, s…

Max Factor: Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle foundation review

I was kindly sent these products to review
Max Factor is such an iconic brand that has been around for years. I can remember Nana using it and even my Mam. When I got the chance to try out some Max Factor makeup I was really happy (infact I screamed inside) When I opened the package I was really happy with what was inside. The Smooth Miracle Primer and Miracle Touch Foundation. Both products claim to smooth the skin textures. Also, these products are advertised on TV and the models skin looks flawless. Anything that claims to make your skin look flawless and smooth I will try. As you all know I love a flawless, smooth and full coverage base.
Smooth Miracle Primer I 'secretly' hoped that this would have been one of the products in the package, as I really wanted to try it out. So when I saw this product I was thrilled. The bottom picture above is the primer using a small pump and on the right (which you can't see) it is blended out. I applied the primer all over my face and I…
